Yeamans Family Genealogy Forum

Fran, thank you for responding so promptly to my message. Nine out of ten times when I've responded to a posting that is dated more than two years, I don't get a reply. To my knowledge, my ancestor, John Pinkard, is not related to Sir John Yeamans. I ran across your posting when researching the Barbadian Adventurers. I am interested in the First Families of South Carolina as researching John Pinkard has been an adventure in itself. I was hoping to hear from other Charles Towne researchers about their experiences and maybe even tap into their luck. At this time, I have not been able to find John Pinkard's trail back to his homeland, which I believe is England. He has been mentioned in two secondary sources as one of these planters from Barbados, but research there has turned up nothing. He does not appear on the ships passenger list of the Blessing. Please contact me directly at Carrie925@aol.com.
Thanks,
Carrie
