Thanks for your replay concerning Sir John Yeamans. Concerning his guilt in the alleged poisoning of Benj. Berringer, all I know about the incident is what Col. Cave told me. Here in Kentucky, conviction of a criminal charge, and time served in prison does not keep one from holding political office. As a matter of fact, we have a number of people of dark background currently holding office in Kentucky today! Sir John probably would be a hero! In fact, he probably would run for President!
