I am researching the Yeagy family of Adams County, Pa, living in the Straban and Huntington Twp. areas. John Adam Yeagy, born in 1840, was the son of Leonard Yeagy and Rebecca Gulden. John married Louisa Ellen Martin in 1861 and had at least 7 children. Their daughter, Elizabeth A. Yeagy married Harry William Ickes (my gr. grandparents) in 1891, Adams County, Pa. Harry moved his new bride to Williamson County, Texas, where he had been living since the early 1880's.
