Eliz. YEADON, mid-1700s, Westmorland ENG

My 5 x Great-grandmother was Elizabeth Yeadon, who married Seth Fiswick (or Physick or Fishwick, according to which clerk was writing the name at the time) in February 1752 at Kirkby Lonsdale, Westmorland, England.

In the ten years of their marriage they had six children, then she died just over a month after the birth of the sixth, in December 1762. They had lived all that time in the village of Casterton, just a few miles outside Kirkby Lonsdale on the Sedbergh Road.

I have not been able to trace Elizabeth's origins. The nearest I have as a possibility is an Elizabeth Yeadon christened at Clapham, Yorkshire in July 1728. This is a realistic possibility but at present I have no confirmatory evidence.

Does this link with anyone else on this forum?

Any suggestions welcome.
