William and Elizabeth (Drysdale) Yeadon of Spryfield, Halifax County, NS were great-great-grandparents of my late grandfather William Henry Yeadon. He was descended from them through their son William Drysdale Yeadon (1827-1909) and his wife Mary Ann Umlah of Greenhead, near Goodwood, Hfx. Co. then through their son Amos Henry Yeadon (1856-1925)and his wife Laleah(Lalia) Bashford (1854-1931) then through their son Charles Tupper Yeadon (1876-1949) and his wife Lavinia Siteman (1876-1938.) This last couple were my grandfather's parents.

William and Elizabeth (Drysdale) Yeadon are buried along with various others in the Yeadon Family Cemetery in Spryfield, now part of Halifax, not far from where I reside.
