Hi Matt This is not a name that I am researching but perhaps I can help get you going. When you put in a query, it would help if you could note whatever dates that you have (even the decade would narrow things down a bit i.e "the 1890's")At the top of the Yeadon Family Forum there is a "search this forum" box. If you put "Nova Scotia" in there you will find messages from several people who are also researching Yeadons in Nova Scotia. I did a quick search of the 1881 Canadian Census which is available in it's entirety at: http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp?PAGE=search_all1.asp&clear_form=true At that time there were about 44 Yeadons living in NS, most in Drysdale Cove, Halifax County with a couple more families settled in Nine Mile River, Hants County. Two of them had a Charles 1881 Canadian Census Name Marital Status Gender Ethnic Origin Age Birthplace Occupation Religion Amos YEADON M Male English 25 Nova Scotia Quarryman Baptist Lelia YEADON M Female English 20 Nova Scotia Church of England Charles YEADON Male English 5 Nova Scotia Baptist William YEADON Male English 2 Nova Scotia Baptist Census Place Nine Mile River,Hants County District 18 Sub-district J Page Number 18 Household Number 72 AND Name Marital Status Gender Ethnic Origin Age Birthplace Occupation Religion James C.
