Reuben Jr and John Lively are indeed from the South Carolina Lively's that came to Nova Scotia from the 96 District of South Carolina after the war. Reuben Jr and John are the sons of Rebuen Lively and Mary Liddell (Cameron). Reuben was a Loyalist during the war and arrived in Nova Scotia in the winter of 1782 with Adam Fralic and George Snell (Adam's brother in law), both mentioned in the petition. Also accompanying them was Thomas Thornton and his three boys. They were all neighbors in the 96 District of SC. All recieved acerage at Rawdon in 1784 as reflected in the Publick Archives of Nova Scotia. George and his two brothers it seems sold their land to Adam Fralic and returned to the US shortly after receiving their grants. Adam Fralick removed to Ontario likely in 1795 when he sold the land to Mr. Yeadon. The Lively family remained in Rawdon where they can be found in the census records up through 1901.
