I am not sure if my uncle Bill was your grandfather. His name was William Yax, and he was married to a woman by the name of Mae (I think). My genealogy gedcom shows that he named his only son William, but I don't have any more information than that. William Sr's father's name was John Marcus Yax. If any of this fits, email me.
