Dear Darlene,
I believe your Clara M. Yax is also my paternal great-grandmother. Was your Clara married to Richard Baird Low on May 23, 1865 in Marine City, MI, and was Clara also know as "Carrie"? My father, Truman Richard Low, was born in Priest River, Idaho, and his parents are buried there as well as his grandparents. I am very excited that I found your posting to the Yax Family Genealogy Forum, because I have very little information about the Yax family. Also, just to throw another wrench into the works, I have seen Clara's mother's maiden name spelled as "LOZEN". Have you seen that before?
