I am trying to find further information on my maternal great-grandmother's family. Her name was Clara M. Yax (born 5/1/1874 in Marine City, Michigan and died in Priest River, Idaho on 4/12/1943). She was the daughter of William Yax (born 8/6/1846 Chesterfield Township, Macomb County,Illinois) and Julia Losow (born 6/6/1847 in China Township, Michigan, died 4/10/1914. I have a great deal of information on the Losow family (and various spellings of that last name, but little on the Yax family). Any help would be appreciated. I have been unable to determine how or if she fits into any of the posts on this site.
