Deborah, according to my research Mariah Yawn or Yaun was the daughter of Nicholas Yaun born 1787 in SC and Christian Selvester from SC. Mariah's parents moved to MS in 1811 and Cullin Yawn is an older brother. Her younger brother Elisha was living with her in the 1860 Census,her husband Jacob Sistrunk must have died. I have been studing this family because want to see if my great grandfather Joseph Richard Yawn connected to any Nicholas's decendents.
