I am studing the Nicholas Yawn born 1787 in SC to moved to MS between 1810-1812 by passport. My Yawn family is from MS
Does anyone know who his father and siblings were? I don't think Nicholas Yon/Yawn who was born in 1710-1713 could have been his father.
I have read where he had a wife and one child when he left SC for MS. His son Cullen Yawn was born in MS in 1812 and is listed on a land deed.
Do you think the first child died or was his first born a daughter? I have Cullin, Jesse, Martha, William, Elisha, Elizabeth and Priscilla as his children.
