Perfect... I've been snooping around raims.com, which has a great deal of historical information... birth, death, court and census information for the 19th century. What I've found is things like Church D Yaw and Charles Yaw both lived in Hopewell, Ontario County, NY, in 1850. As did a Fremont Crandall, an uncle of my grandmother (one of Pearl's daughters). Pearl is my great-grandmother (though somehow I think you may know that already) and I've been snooping around the internet for a while (casually) looking for information. Now I find a link that potentially ties the Crandalls, Yaws, and Parkers together in upstate NY. Awesome. Other evidence that there's a tie: Both a Julia and a Maud Parker are in the South Bristol census records from 1892 Church D Yaw and Charles Yaw both lived in Hopewell, Ontario County, NY, in 1850 Fremont Crandall lived in South Brostol in 1875 (My grandmother had an Uncle Freme) I'm not sure about the records, though... Erastus L CRANDALL lived in South Bristol in 1855... is it possible a clerical error is at work here? Anyway... I have to actually spend the time to chart out some of these movements. They're hard to track since we're dealing with several names in several cities during several different censuses... but the records are all there to be traced. What date do you have on the marriage certificate? Thanks!!!!!!!! J Notify Administrator about this message?
