Hello, Franklin M. Yaw is my ancestor too. (from his first wife, Charlotte Dowd). He has been one of the most complicated persons I have researched. I have come across some of the same problem/conflicting information that you have given. I would like to hear from you (or any of his descendants) and to share info. I'm especially looking for his mother's name and family. And if it helps, there is no such person as Marvin Cecil Yaw, and I can also explain how the name Palina Dowd was made in error. (she was not a wife of Franklin) I will be checking in to this forum for replies. Thanks
