Hi there,

I am keen to research my grandfather's family history.

He was Frederick Thomas Yates (b. Garston, Liverpool, 30.4.1928 - d. Liverpool, 14.4.2005), married to Nora Margaret Baird (2.5.1930 - ).

His father was Frederick Yates (b. 74 Stamford Road, Formby, Lancs, 24.1.1898 - d. Liverpool, c1960s), married to Sarah Alice Brown (b. Woolton Road, Garston, Liverpool, 9.11.1900 - d. Liverpool, c1956). Their other children were Florence (c1925-c1998), Dorothy (c1926-) and Gladys (c1930-c1980).

His grandfather was Frederick Yates (b. 52 Liffey Street, Toxteth Park, Lancs, c1875 - d. Liverpool, ?), married to Eleanor Vaughan Mercer (b. Liverpool?, c1875 - d. Liverpool, ?).

His great grandfather was Thomas Yates (b. Liverpool?, c1850 - d. Liverpool?, ?), marriage unknown.

If anybody with any information or possible links to these people could get back to me that would be much appreciated.
