Thanks Karen for the information - it is definitely my family. I found an obit notice in the NY Times for Frederick Taylor who was the husband of Alice Yates and his service was held in West Hoboken.
Also, Caroline Yates, was known as "Aunt Carrie" - I have many prized dishes from her.
