Paul,

I knew his name rang a bell!

Goostrey is a village in Cheshire where there are many Yarwoods and indeed I have a whole family there in 1550+.

I happen to know Turweston too, personally.

I have checked the Turweston Church rectors Records at http://met.open.ac.uk/genuki/big/eng/bkm/Turweston/rectors.html

There you will find he was one of mine sic : 1603 Hugh Yarwood.

He was not a Yearwood.

Colin
