YARO of Brimfield, Hampden, Massachusetts 1795

I am trying to trace Sybil Yaro, who married Rowlandson (Roulinson, Ronaldson) Bond of Brimfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts, about 1794. The name comes from family genealogies. I don't know how far off it might have been spelled. Both the 1850 and 1860 census reported that she was born in Massachusetts - around 1777 or 1766.

I cannot find a marriage record for her, nor can anyone else. I found a death record for her second husband, but not for her. Both husbands lived all their lives in Brimfield. But I don't know if that is where Rowlandson Bond married her.

The spelling of her first name varies completely. On the record of her second marriage it is spelled sydil.

There were several people with the name Yaro and very similar names in Beverly, Essex County, Massachusetts, a century or two earlier. Otherwise the name hardly turns up in Massachusetts.

Yours,
Dora Smith
