Hi Betsy!
Well, I'm based in the UK and consequently cannot help much with American universities and their respective libraries, but certainly here in the UK the British Museum Library has his books, I'm sure and other places like Worcestershire (pron ."woostersheer"!!) County council (where he hailed from) may be able to help.
I have a copy of "Transactions of the Worcestershire Archaeological Society, 3rd series, vol. 13 1992 which has a huge amount of biographical stuff on the man!
He is little known about here in England - no likeness exists of him and the last substantial document on him was by Dove in the 1800's.
What a fascinating heritage you have! Certainly one of England's unsung heroes who's knock on effect into society today is still felt (he was responsible for setting up the land registry - something we all have to pay for when we buy a house - 1 to 3% of the value, in fact) also the concept of a mortgage is also proposed in my particular book.
My book is in splendid and complete condition with only the spine replaced to the highest standard. One of my prized possessions!

You need to make a trip to the UK to really research this. St. Catherine's house in London and Worcestershire county council and parish records would probably go a long way to answering your specific questions!

best regards!
