Dolly, This information is from my father's birth cetificate. He was born on 21 February 1905 in North Melbourne and was named David Henry. His father was
James Henry and was 34 (ie born 1871) in Mount Macedon, Victoria. The older chidren at the time were Margaret,11, Mary Ellen,9, Bridget Doris,6, and James Henry(dec'd). My father used the name Jim.Mothers maiden name was Ellen Reilly,31, born in North Melbourne.
My grandfather died in 1915 when my father was 10 and is buried at Fawkner cemetery in Melbourne as is my father who died on 13/9/1973.
One of the other messages (from Jenny Buck) says that four children of John and Anne Yarr came to Aust in 1860's including one named James Henry who would probably be my great grandfather. Norman Yarr Port Douglas Queensland
