you can email me direct. Some of the states had civil war pensions before 1890 but few had any money. When you send for a pension file you will see that the records start with 1890, reason, the federal government took forever to get the law and the pension system working. You can email direct at: chys@adelphia.net I can send the units of the men you mentioned. There is very little information on Hanna Cook Yarnes and on all census she is listed as white? They married somewhere abt. 1832. 1840 census lists Hanna as being born in Rhode Island and 1850 and 1860 as being born in Ny. Years ago I paid the Seneca Genealogical Group $50 to find out there was no record of a Hannah Cook listed as born Seneca, so I have been at a brick wall for years. I am a professional genealogical researcher but you can disagree with me all you want, that is how we tear down the brick wall. Please contact me.
