Which Consider Morgan Yarnes was in the Civil War? Was it Consider M. Yarnes born in 1840, or Consider M. Yarnes Jr.? I have the papers for the National Archives to send, but the more I read these post the more I am confused! Who is the Consider M. Yarnes Jr. born in 1809 in Smithville NY? Who is that ones father. According to the Ancestry's Civil War Soldiers, this is what it says: Consider M. Yarnes enlisted on 9 Sept. 1861 at age 23 as a Union soldier serving the state of NY. Unit number: 1593. Promoted to Full Wagoner. Enlisted in Comp. F, 89th Infantry Regiment NY on 4 Oct. 1861. I decend from the Andrew Jackson Yarnes line. Please help straighten this out before I send the wrong name. When I recieve my information I will be happy to share with anybody that decends from Consider. Nancy Notify Administrator about this message?
