My Grandmother was a Yarnes, and I can fill you in on some information that my Mother compiled. A Edward Yarnes Sr. was married to Rhoda Green. They had 4 children. Their names were Edward, Allen, Eli, and Dwight. Edward Yarnes,Jr. married Harriet Rees and they had 5 children. They were: Jennie, Thomas, William, Clara and Anna (my Grandmother). Edward Jr. moved to Oregon, but the rest of the family stayed in SE MN, and primarily in Wykoff, MN which is 7 miles from Spring Valley. (Fillmore County) Clara and Anna married brothers Louis David Kidd and William S. Kidd. Hope this helps in your searching.
