My gggrandmother was Susan Elizabeth Yarnes . Her family lived around Upper Lisle,New York. THe only thing I know about her is She was out of a family of nine chilren . Her father's name was Samuel.and he was married to a Phebe Riley. The childrens names in order were Edward,Consider,William Jackson, Andrew Hancock, Minerva ,Susan Elizabeth, Samuel,Phebe, and Emma. My gg grandmother was married toGeorge Marvin .They had 2 children Phebe Maud and Andrew Berdell. The dates and information I have came from My g grand mother's Bible. Our family did not know much about her .She died 1 year before my grandmother was borni in 1903. They said she had a temper and that George left her with 2 small children to raise. The only other thing I know is I've seen gravestones of Yarnes in the Upper Lisle cemetary when I was there several years ago. My gggrandmother is buried in the Center Lisle,Cemetaryand for some reason The name onthe stone is her maiden name .Susan Yarnes. The Marvin name is not there.I've also seen a Yarnes Road Sign not to far from Upper Lisle. Upper Lisle is not far from The Whitney Point Triangle, New York area.
