For the early history of the YARNELL/YARNALL family look in Philadelphia and Chester Co. This was an important early Quaker family.

Francis YARNALL had son Richard, born 1791, he had a son John, born 1828. There is a YARNALL cemetery in Schuylkill Co., PA.

My grandfather, born 1874, had a neighbor named Jesse YARNALL in Mount Carmel, Northumberland Co., PA. I seem to remember his wife's name as Jenny.

I think there was an Issac YARNALL from Phila. very early who had some ties to the Quaker Meeting Ground in Charleston, SC.

The early histories of Berks and Chester Co. (Cope) cover the YARNALL family.
