I am looking at the family of William Sylvester Yarger and Keziah Frances Lockhart. They were married in Henry Co., IL Sept 13, 1866 and went to Missouri by 1873. Taxes paid in Buchanan Co., MO 1897-1900. Children born in Carroll co., and Caldwell Co., Also a possibility they were in KS about 1878 (one child claimed to be born there)
I have a list of 15 children supposedly born to them between 1867 and 1891. I have found them in only one census 1870. Found some of their children in 1900 & 1910 in Missouri.
What I need most is to find William Yarger's parents. In 1860 he was living with James and Pelina Yarger in Cornwall, Henry Co., IL age 14. James was age 32 so could possibly be his father but Pelina is listed as age 25...too young to be his mother. I have found Family Trees on Ancestry for James and Pelina or Peninah Yarger with all the right children but NOT William Sylvester. None of the e-mail addresses were good for these trees.
