In one of the old papers in the "Yarger Tin Box" was a mention of George and Mary (Maria Loose) Yarger's (Joerger) daughter Susan married to Henry Frede. I have searched high and low for these folks and tried several variations on the spelling of Frede.
Yesterday I searched the WorldConnect database again for "Susan born in PA about 1813 married to Henry" while leaving out the surnames. We know Susan's birth date from the pages copied from George Yarger's family bible.
A reference to the descendants of Henry Friedt and Susan Yuger popped up! There are descendants all the way to the present. I am trying to contact the fellow (or his sisters) who posted the information.
Susan and Henry's children were born in Westmoreland Co., PA prior to 1855 and then they moved to Monroe Co., MI, about the time that George and Mary Yarger moved their family there.
Susan was sister to Sarah Jane Weaver (traveled to Iowa as wife of Israel) and Mary (deaf and dumb spinster) and our GG Grandfather John Yarger. (The first John who was father to our G Grandfather John Yarger.) All of the other children of George and Mary died young.
