Sarah Evans had conveyed the tract to Nicholas Martineaux in 1698. In 1765, Gabriel Bland or Blond and Susannah, his wife, heretofore Susannah Yard relict widow of Joseph Yard relinquished Susannah’s right of dowry.

Elizabeth & Adam Carr in Philadelphia, PA sold Elizabeth’s share of Joseph Yard’s estate. “the said Nicholas Martineaux ..... did convey the said tract of land .......... unto his son-in-law Joseph Yard....Joseph Yard dying intestate, the said tract descended unto his...five daughters.” 15 August 1764 Elizabeth & Adam Carr acknowledged that they had signed.
