Hi there again.

Yes, my grandmother was married several times and one of her husbands was Arthur Salinas with whom she had one daughter, Carmen Smith.

My grandmother has six children (I'll give them in order of birth):
1. Pamela Cooper
2. Cheryl Wiseman
3. Clarence Heath
4. Sonny Heath
5. Robin Heath
6. Carmen Smith

Pamela and Cheryl share the same father and the maiden name of "Cook." My grandmother was first married to Reginald Cook who died in 2009 I believe. My grandmother and Reginald were divorced later on after my aunts were born.

My grandmother had a child but was unmarried during this period, my uncle Clarence. I'm not sure what his last name was before he was given the name "Heath." (I'll explain how he was given the name "Heath" during the second marriage).

My grandmother married a second time to a man I have heard referred to as "Tubby" Heath. (I'm not sure if that was his given name). They had one child, my uncle Sonny. Before my uncle Sonny was born "Tubby" had adopted my uncle Clarence and given him the name "Heath." (These two brothers still have a sibling rivalry). My grandmother divorced "Tubby" sometime subsequently.

My grandmother had another child and was unmarried (my mother) Robin Heath. My grandmother still had the name "Heath" and so she put that on my mother's birth certificate instead of her father's name of "Reed."

My grandmother married a third time to a man named Arthur Salinas. They had one daughter, my aunt Carmen Smith. Her full given name was Carmelita Helena Salinas. She's always gone by Carmen, only Arthur calls her Carmelita. My grandmother divorced him while Carmen was still a child.

My grandmother married a fourth and final time to a man with the last name of "Hayes." I know nothing of him. My grandmother never took on her maiden name of Yarbrough but still remains Grace Ione Hayes.

So, after all that interesting controversial family coverage. HAHAHA! Homer Almon Yarbrough was the spouse of my great grandmother, Grace Lilian May. They had two children, Wanda Jean Yarbrough and my grandmother, Grace Ione Hayes. I know that they were divorced at some point. I know he had another marriage, but I'm not sure if it was previous to my great grandmother or after.

If you can sort through all of that, that is how I am descended from Homer Almon Yarbrough.
