Ann, think you are on to something from the 1850 and 1860 censuses. The 1850 census had John T's age a year off but since he was born on Dec 10, 1841, the 1860 census would have had his correct age. Mother, age 94, has said my grandfather James D. Yarbrough would travel to Desoto County when she was very young to visit relatives. I now need to see if she remembers mention of any of John's siblings. You're a great help. James R.
