William Y. was born in 1790 in North Carolina. His wife is currently a mystery, but his children were: Eliza (b. 1820), william (b. 1823), Frances (b. 1829), Judy (b. 1833), and Martha (b. 1838). They were enumerated in the 1850 Federal Census in Shelby County, Tennessee, District 9. Has anyone, willing to share data, proven the parents of William, Sr.?
