Melvin J. Yarbrough went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2004 at the age of 88. Melvin raised game chickens, hunting dogs, and various kinds of birds.He is preceded in death by his son Danny R. Yarbrough, brother Marion Yarbrough, sisters Clara Smith and Ruby Fischer. He is survived by his wife Mollie Yarbrough of 41 years of marriage, son Melvin Yarbrough Jr. and wife Becky of Port Aransas, step-son Gene Drisch and wife Judy of Boerne, grandchildren: Brad Yarbrough and wife Jean, Tina Yarbrough, Jackie Yarbrough, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Mabel Curbow of Jordanton, Texas, brother John W. Yarbrough Jr. of Flour Bluff, Texas numerous nieces and nephews
Services
The family will receive visitors on Thursday December 9, 2004 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral services will be held on Friday December 10, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South with Rev. Larry Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park South.
