I'm writing a George book and am interested in more info on James and Joel Yarbrough, mainly about their wives.
James Yarbrough (born ?, died after 1798 Caroline Co, VA). Wife was Elizabeth --- (George?)
and
Joel Yarbrough, wife Agness (George?). Joel and James were contemporaries, though I don't know if they were closely related to each other.
I have been told that both of these men married George women, but I have yet to see any proof. There may be some, does anyone know about it? I'd appreciate some help.
There was another James Yarbrough who died before May 1785. His wife Mary later married William Almond. This isn't the James I'm interested in, unless his wife Mary was a George.
The younger James Yarbrough was still alive as late as 1798 and may have died that year or in 1799. His wife's name is given as Elizabeth on some court documents.
