1862 R. H. Yarbrough, a disabled Confederate veteran, whose father was James Yarbrough, moved to Texas from Calhoun Co., ALL in 1862. R. H. Yarbrough's address on 12 Jan 1867 was Bonham (Fannin Co) Texas. All this according to an article on that date in Livingston Journal newspaper in Sumter Co., AL
Note: R. H. Yarbrough, b c1842 was in Hill Co., TX in 1880. Robert H. Yarbrough was in 1900 census of Hill Co., TX. I have a copy of the article somewhere - can't put my hands on it. I believe he wrote to the newspaper trying to find out if his father or any of his family was still living in that area.
