The links between the Yarborough and Felps families go back at least to the early 1800s, when both were in Georgia. Stephen Yarborough married Elizabeth Felps in Eaton County, Ga., in 1810. After they moved to East Feliciana Parish, they had a son, Claiborne W., who also is listed as marrying an Elizabeth Felps. I don't have your Edna in my tree, but it was not uncommon for families to intermarry over several generations.
