Liz,
I am just starting my research, and I was wondering if your line of Yarbroughs is the same as mine. Does your line include:
John J. Y. was s/o Reuben Y. and Cynthia Hawthorne Short.
Reuben Y. was s/o Jeptha Y. and Nancy Ann (Franklin?)
Jeptha Y. was s/o Joshua Y. and Susannah Thompson.

This is as far as I have gotten so far.
I have heard there is a Yarbrough house in Beaver Valley in St Clair County. (I live in Jefferson County.) I have also heard that a Littleton Yarbrough built the Inzer house in St. Clair County. I am related to that Inzer line also.
