On December 30, 1851, John Yarbrough married Jamima (Gemina?) Jane Edwards in Hardeman CO, TN. I believe that Jamima had previously married Robert B. Dukes on June 30, 1847 and that they may have had a son, John, who was 2 in the 1850 census. In 1850, Jamima was 19 and she was living in the household of her father, Jacob L. Edwards, in Hardeman CO with little John (Robert Dukes apparently was out of the picture for some reason). Jacob and most of the family moved to Independence CO, AR in the late 1850s. I don't know if Jamima and John accompanied them. I'm looking for descendants of Jamima and John Yarbrough. Jamima was the sister of my grgrandfather, Elihu C. Edwards.
