Hi, my grandmother Eva Douthit was granddaughter to Mary Elizabeth Yarbrough born 1859 to Wm. S. Yarbrough and Elizabeth (America) ______. My aunt left me a table that belonged to Mary Elizabeth's mother she called America Yarbrough. Both Wm. S. and his father Wm. migrated to Webster County, KY from N.C. by at least 1840's. I have the 1860 Census but no other ones. I know Wm.S.'s father Wm. married a second time to Jemima Hobgood in Hopkins, KY. I don't know who he was married to when Wm.S. was born in N.C. about 1811. I don't think he is the Wm. from Hopkins County you mentioned. I have information that lists his will in KY Will Index Vol. 2 Book A p 189. It was written August 19, 1811. I haven't been able to read it so far. Maybe you can help. It may not be his either. I want to trace them back because I believe they are connected to Richard Yarbrough from Virginia.
