Hi, Shane,
I realize your posting is a bit old,but in one of the other postings, someone mentioned "Aunt Gurt." Well, she is my aunt also, so we must be related. In fact, I'll be seeing her next week when I go to Arkansas. My father was Bill Yarbery, the second youngest of John Wesley Yarbery's many children (not all of them exactly "legal" as I understand it). My dad met one of his half sisters for the first time(can't remember her name off hand, but she lived somewhere in Missouri) when he was in his mid-70's and she was 87! Aunt Gertrude is the last one of the brothers and sisters living, I believe, and she is at present in very bad health, receiving hospice care. But, as I said, I'm planning to see her soon. I'll mention your name.

(I also noticed there is ANOTHER Anita Yarbery is California. I thought I was the ONLY person in the world with this name. But I am absolutely convinced that she and I are related. I think everyone with the last name "Yarbery" is related -- it's such a rare name.)
