Hello -
Am researching Yarberry/Yarbery family and hope someone can help - my gggrandmother, Nancy Yarberry, was married in Yalobusha Co, MS to John Thomas. They are on census there, then moved to Gibson Co., TN and are on census there. John buried in Wilkes Cemetery in Gibson Co, but we have been unable to locate burial place for Nancy. Also cannot find ANY family for her. Family lore insists she is Cherokee, but no way of confirming without family. Nancy had daughter, Mary Jane Thomas, who married Wm. Halliburton Wilkes in Gibson Co., TN later moving to Izard Co., ARK and is buried there. Want to find out Nancy's family....help - anyone out there! thanks - Dolores wilkes willoughby in Oklahoma
