My great-grandfather's name was James Alexander Yarberry; he left Springfield, MO for Lawton, Oklahoma in the first 2 decades of the 20th century. He had a number of sons, one of more of whom may have remained in Springfield.
Yarberry is apparently a respelling of the name "Yarbourgh," a name inevitably British in base.
