Dear CAT,
The family that you are talking about is William Roland Yarborough b.27 Feb 1799 Fairfield Co, SC. He was md. to Elizabeth Nicholson d/o James Nicholson. William and Elizabeth were in Monroe Co, TN by 1833, and there is a deed there which proves Elizabeth to the the d/o James Nicholson. They moved on to Gilmer Co, GA by 1850 and back to Monroe Co, TN by 1860. Although Elizabeth was not a Roberts, William and Elizabeth's daughter Aquilla Y. md. John R. Roberts b.c 1825 s/o Phillip Roberts and Nancy Dougan. Hope this helps. Ann Broadbent
