I have been working on my Great Grandmother's side of the family for years and couldn't find much about it. She was Fanny Yarberry Williams. I found some information in the Confederate Pensions and would like anymore help as possible. I found that Fanny Yarberry's Father and Mother were: Elisha H. Yarberry and he was married to Aney (Annie) Lackey Yarberry. They married Nov. 27, 1852 in Haywood County, N.C. They had 7 children (3 died). THe children were: Faney (Fanny) Louisa born July 28, 1853, Greenberry born Jan. 26, 1856, Elisha James born May 20, 1861 and Russell M. born May 11, 1863. Elisha H. Yarberry died Dec. 12, 1867 in Morganton, Fannin County, Georgia. Annie Lackey Yarberry died November 27, 1901 in Sevier County, Tennessee. Elizabeth Caldwell of Jonathan's Creek, Sevier County, Tennessee was Annie Lackey Yarberry's Mother by Elizabeth's first marriage. Elisha Yarberry had a brother named Minor Yarberry. This is all the information I could find on the Yarberrys. Could anyone help? Thanks, Jerry Carpenter
