Carroll Yarber family from East TN

Hi, my name is Teresa Ann Yarber, though my married name is now Wall. I was born in Johnson City, Tennessee in 1955. My beloved father was Carroll Yarber who died in January of 1995, who was born I believe in Unicoi, Tennesee. He was married to Lavonia (Von) Pearl Jones. My dad's original name was Carrick William Yarber, but some how got changed as he entered his school years, and then legally changed it to Carroll Yarber, as he had been called most of his life. He had six brothers and sisters: John, Harry, Jack, Edith, Ruth, and Alma (Susie). His father's name was John Yarber, although at this point I don't know his middle name, if there was one. I am getting with my cousins to determine this. John Yarber died when my dad was about 6 years old. John's wife's name was Rachel, and I am checking with my cousins to determine her last name as well.

If anyone knows this recent family chain and can begin tieing into their own chain, I would love to hear from you. I miss my dad very much... and this is my adventure, to discover more... of our family. I was the only child, and a girl... Thus, the surname ended on this part of the family, but thankfully, I have several male cousins who carry the proud name of Yarber onward.

Lovingly,
Teresa
