Ran into an impasse on my family line so decided to begin my husband's line of Yantes, His Grandmother was Mary Elizabeth Yantes b. 1905, daughter of John Yantes b. 1877 who was the son of Levi Yantes b.1831 who was the son of Solomon Yantes of Hocking County. Does anyone know of this family and know who Solomon's parents were? I have calculated birth date of Solomon to be 1804 according to age given on 1850 census--born Maryland--wife Mary Ann b.abt 1812 Pa, other children Daniel b1832, Catharine b.1836, Harriet1838, George b.1840, Solomon b. 1845. Does anyone know where Solomon is buried and who his parents were? I found Levi, wife, Mary Jane, daughter Minnie, son John E. and wife,Carrie buried in the Mt. Pisgah cemetery. Any information anyone might have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Lynn
