Date was December 18, 1878. The stone is a tall four sided about 5-6 feet tall. Light gray in color. The last time I saw it it was leaning. Seems the ground under it was shifting. George is on one side and Mary on the other. The base of the stone has the name Stults on all four sides. The top is sort of a four sided A shaped on all sides, sort like a hat or the A shape of a house.

The obituary for Mary ran in the Huntington Democrat on 26 Dec 1878 Huntington, IN. Read - Mrs. George Stults, of Clearcreek township, died after a long and painful illness last week, and was buried in the Clearcreek Cemetery, Friday morning. Not long since Mr. Stults passed into the "great unknown" and the two estimable people are now mourned by a large circle of relatives and acquaintances.
