I seem to have hit a brick wall in my family research.
My gggggg(6th great)Grandfather was James Yandell b.abt 1740 d.Jan 13, 1797 m.Martha Walker Both born in Mecklenburg County, NC.
Their son was William (called Henry) Yandell b. Mecklenburg Co, NC d. Rolla, MO m. Sarah Elizabeth Crump or Krump. They had 9 children as far as I know: George W., James Wilson, Mary Ann, John, Henry Jackson, Elizabeth Ann, Jesse, Margaret, and Sarah. All were born approximatly between 1810 and 1830.
James Wilson Yandle was my ggggGrandfather. He married Mary Ann Woolsey on June 4, 1831 in Tennessee. Both died in Missouri. Their 6 children: Elizabeth Ann, Sarah M., William Oliver, John A., Nancy Jane, and James Wilson Yandle(the 2nd or Jr.).
James Wilson Yandle (my gggGrandfather) b.Feb 12, 1845 MO d.Aug 19, 1873 MO m. Marina Caffey on Sept 20, 1865. Their children: Oliver H. Yandle and Susan Angeline Yandle. Oliver H. Yandle b.Sept 9, 1866 MO d.July 21, 1924 m.Pelina E. Chambers. They had 9 children. Their son Arthur Lee Yandle is my great Grandfather.
