I have just begun a search for my father's family history. He is Fred Lindberg Yandle, born September 8, 1928 the son of Oscar Lee Yandle (originally from Mecklenberg COunty, NC)
and Ruth Miles Yandle of Winnsboro, SC. Oscar Lee Yandle had brothers; George & Fred, and a sister , Lillie.

Both Oscar Lee and George relocated to COlumbia, SC where they both married and raised families.

Can anyone assist me with my humble beginning?
