Wow! I didn't even know that much about Matilda. But it does make some since. I've been doing geneolog research on another side of my family and in the 1800's the familiest would usually marry thier 1st cousins, sometimes it would be on the father side and sometimes it would be on the mother's side. So that wouldn't surprise me if James' wife would be Matilda's Aunt or Great Aunt. My cousin said she will be emailing you soon. I just sent her this last email youo sent me.
