Looking for information on the descendants of Sarah "Sallie" YANCY and her husband, Lewis H. HOLBROOK. Sallie was the dau of Wesley YANCY and wife, Polly. She was born possibly in Gwinnett Co., GA. She and Lewis married 1838 in Forsyth Co., GA. They lived in Randolph Co., AL later 1850's and then returned to Forsyth Co. during Civil War. Shortly after the war, they moved to Walker Co., GA and by 1880 were in Chattooga Co., GA. Lewis died there in 1893 and Sallie died 1911 in Floyd Co., but was returned to Chattooga Co. for burial beside Lewis. Children were: Francis, General Marion, Harriet Louisa, Millie P., Major, Lewis Perryman, Thomas Hiram, Asberry G., Sarah Sapronia, and James M. "Tuck". I have not been able to located them on the 1860 census. Help!
